Seasons
Music is my sanctuary, as Gary Bartz proclaimed. It is also my soundtrack, aide memoire, a guide and companion. Seasons is an audio travelogue in four parts, each an hour and a half in duration, a length that invokes my favoured mix-tape format, the C90. The sharing of such entities is a key part of their purpose, an action that allows them to become part of a wider experience. These assemblages are date stamped, capsules of selective reasoning, indicative of my listening, people and places, and together they form the sonic experience of a year.
